i get that alot too actually almost everday including "ur husbands gonna die of starvation", "ur inlaws will hate u cuz u dont act like a girl" and actually alot more..they sound better in punjabi though
As much as I am tortured by my parents and complain about them… tehy have always encouraged independent educated thought. We often have political debates as a family, and my mum, the angel she is doesnt even care greatly that I can not cook or clean apart from worrying about my university life and potential living problems there.
My Dad gets a bit more, like that, however that is due to his age.
