Re: Hawaii or Fiji
njgal, where do I start. Here are a couple of comparisons:
Hawaii as amazing as it is, doesn’t offer the cultural experience Fiji does. Many parts of hawaii could be described as tropical version of US/Canada. Almost everything you have at home, you can get in Hawaii. That’s not necessarily a bad thing for most people, but I personally loved the much more rustic environment Fiji had.
Hawaii is a place for an active tropical vacation: Vast variety of things to do and many more people. Fiji is a place to vacation at a much slower pace with fewer crowds but that also depends on where you are staying in Fiji. If you are staying at the mainland, then its not worth it compared to Hawaii, but if you are planning on staying on an Island then the beaches and crystal clear waters are lovely.
Hawaii offered more variety of water sports compared to Fiji.

oh one last thing. I went to Hawaii four years ago and Fiji two years ago, so my review is a lil dated.
