2)understand

3)apply or not.

1. Yes I recite it as a form of worship and read the translation to understand it

2. I cannot say I understand fully, but I always use established concepts before I approach it with scrutiny.

3. I am no where near applying it in my life, but I have full intent to do so and sometimes I find myself actually trying to apply it too.
