No need to be patrionising Decent :) Looting a bank is really not on par with using lost money. I shouldn't have eaten some of the grub but I did. You live and learn :)

I've found a bunch of stuff including money. Money I don't usually pick up since I can't return it to back to the owner.
I found an iPod once, it had the person's resume on it so I emailed him and never heard from him. A year later I was cleaning up, saw the iPod, contacted the person again and he responded back and it was returned back to him.
Found a cell phone, went through the contact list, managed to find the person's house number and returned that back as well!
