Not someone exactly like me, but with many things in common. Hmm, don’t think I’d want someone exactly like me. There’s something kinda creepy about it.

I’ve met someone who is quite similar in terms of personality and interests and we get on quite well. I’ve never met anyone who is similar to me in terms of appearance and I don’t think I’d like to. I agree with RV that it would rather creepy to meet someone who looks exactly like you.
Oddly enough, my husband is an identical twin and it’s never occurred to me to ask whether its creepy to have an exact duplicate of yourself. I imagine it would be though.

I did meet just one person like that and we share an uncanny resemblance in not just how we think or the things we love but also in our physical appearance. That said, we also have traits that steeply differ but that may be due to different experiences that mould us. In a sense, these serve to make the similarities between us seem more like permanent glue. This person is my husband now and we do count meeting each other as one of the freakier things that happened to have happened.

A Girl in uni looked a lot like me. I could actually see it myself as well. Pretty scary!
