My list is random celebs like music, acting, sports, etc. Yall probably won't know most of them but to me they are celebs and it was a fun encounter with each.
President and wife of trinidad and tobago, President of Guyana's wife (at the time they were married not divorced), Various carib stars that yall probably are not into but bigger names like Sean Paul, shaggy, Wayne Wonder, Destra (she went on to do a sick remix with rishi rich that was on an episode of grey's anatomy the song is roll it gyal), Rik Rock, Buju Banton, Elephant Man, Karma, Dil-E-Nadan, Aventura, Proyecto Uno, Elvis Crespo, Apache Indian, RDB (we ate at taco cabana as a group after the show how cool and random), Russell Peters, Dan Ninan, Jennifer Lopez, Paul Oakenfold, Juvenile (caught him eating cookies at the mall and had to meet him), Country stars like Clay Walker, Lee Ann Womack, George Straight. on the san antonio spurs team I've met Manu Ginobili, Devin Brown, Bruce Bowen, David Robinson, Tony Parker, his father and little brother (pre eva longoria but i've driven by his house and seen her red truck outside on numerous occasions... a friend lived a few houses down so i wasn't just stalking the guy) tim Duncan. Rockets wise Hakim Olajuwon visited my masjid often, slept on the class floor, signed autographs all the time but I also got to know his daughter and his younger brother who would bring her when he couldnt (we were in the same class and she's from his first wife). Random but he's so humble the car he'd drive to the masjid was kinda not the best, and his head hit the roof and he came simply didn't make a fuss and would sleep on the floors after fajr namaz and what not. He's a really nice man that helped build up the synott mosque a lot, at the time the masjid was a house on the other side of that property, when it rained outside it rained inside, we had no walls we had sheets strung on wires as a room divider and such...Hakim really helped our community. Enough about that lol i'm just a big fan. Other Rockets players were Sam Cassell, Mario Elle, Robert Horry, (we were at a championship rally and they signed autographs for all the kids). Recently Rockets wise I've met Yao Ming (was injured and not playing so that worked out well for me yay!) John Stamos, Ben Vereen, Reese Witherspoon, Sheetal Sheth, Aditi Govitrikar, Anousheh Ansari (first muslim woman in space), Chitra Banerjee Divakumari, Hema Malini (very sweet, kind, humble, and not snobby), Shabana Azmi (she's a great speaker if anyone gets the chance to see her do sit in on her lectures), Mira Nair, Abhijeet Sawant Raveena Tandon, shehzad roy, that movie where's the party at yaar was shot in houston and I did show where the lead women and nerdy guy hosted it, Dat Phan, Dominique Moceanu. I met Stone Cold Steve Austin while browsing magazines the girl with her leg in a cast needed help reaching one so i helped her and she was dating him so that worked out well. He came up to us and i was freaking out in my mind but i acted like i didn't know him. My friend at the time was like holy hell do you know who you were talking to and i was like ya that's crazy so he was like go and get him to sign something and i was not going to go back there and be a dorky fan so i didn't bother, but cool encounter none the less. I met Sunny Leone (AT A SHOE STORE) but it was interesting to say the least and she was very nice and talkative. When my cousin got married Iman Ali was getting ready at ather shahzad but i didn't meet her, i had a brief few words while getting my hair done. I knew she was a top model but at the time i couldn't place her and she heard i was from america and that's why she probably was nice...then again i could be wrong. And houston's own Beyonce I have seen her when destiny's child was a 4-some then a threesome and that time it was hot her makeup was melting off and i thought she was just all makeuppretty, saw her again in ny at a distance and she looked really pretty so maybe i misjudged her from the first few times i ran into her. Both ways she's very gracious to fans and will say hello, shake hands and sign autographs. I also went to high school with Tila Tequila who was really sweet and nice, we weren't friends but I'd see her around a lot and we've had a few brief convos through the years. Saw her on myspace and she actually remembered high school and the things we discussed so that was nice to know. One thing about her was that even in high school women hated her guts. She didn't let it get the best of her, never got into a fight always rose above it which drove them even more crazy and she was always really a nice girl to everyone regardless of how they viewed her or treated her and that's something you have to give to her. So when I see her on tv being a hoe I don't mind because I know she's a polite girl overall lol.
