Going to cinema alone if thought about properly makes more sense than going in a gang ... you go to watch a film and you don't want distractions ...
I used to work in a cinema so I have watched many films myself especially when doing film reviews for the premiere showings - which was a perk with the job.
I don't laugh at people going by themselves - rather I'm intrigued how people put mental restrictions due to what society expects from them. And society aught to think that there loads of reasons why a person would be watching a film alone ...
