so keep waiting. and there is a good chance u never get a response.
just go to lahore and karachi. it will be easier.
trust me there is no other way to get in contact with these stuck ups!!!

I had to call about 4 times before I got an email from them. Ther is a lady who I spoke to at the Karachi store and she was an ultra snot head.

i agree. i have her at the karachi store. i dunno who ahs put her in charge but shes got an attitude! n the store sucks too! whetever he cudnt sell in alhroe was sent to khi n i cudnt bel when i saw DUST on the clothes, how unprofessional! :I

i never got the chance to go to HSY's shop (in lahore it's on the road that goes to the cantt bridge...sorry i dont know the correct names of the big roads and stuff), but i did get a chance to go to Maaria B's shop. And judging from my experience and what my cousin told me, these designers really don't put out there couture collection in the front where anyone can just go in and see. all the good stuff is away, under lock and key, and you have to have an appointment to actually go and see that. i mean at Maaria B's store, there were just those aiwin clothes, and don't get me started on the prices. the best thing to do is to look at what you like, and get it made, for cheaper somewhere else. it doesn't take too long, especially the machine embroidery.

^ Yep my cousin went to the Maria B store in ISL and they wouldn’t let her see the collection as they were afraid she might “steal” the designs

i went maria b store this past summer in isl.
yea i guess that applies to all desinger stores, the store keepers are soo conscious about their clothes.

umm thats not very cheap for a bridal dress..
my sis was talking bout makin her bridal dress frm HSY .. she liked his collection!
i've seen Nomi ansari's collection n i like it a lot..all brighty colorful dresses!

I personally don't rate them, there customer service is appaling, on numerous occasions i've asked for some info. only to receive a reply either by call or email a week or two later.
You can see some nice clothing in my thread 'Artigiano'.
I personally would not reccomend HSY, Although his designs are great its the issue with final product.
I had many outfits made from him for my wedding and there was not one which was perfect. They made my mums suit my size and told us they would re make it as they made a mistake but they gave the same one back to us again - so she had nothing to wear at my wedding! They told us one lie after another and gave us such a hard time its unbeleivable.
They messed up one of my sisters suits as well which was lik 65, 000 rs and it was completely un wearable - we sent it back to Lahore from the UK for them to sort it out but they sent it back without altering it as well!
We probably spent more money calling them from the UK to sort the problems out than the suits were worth. It was a complete disaster and i would not reccomend them to anyone - as soon as they have the payment its like they dont care.
I would deffinately look elsewhere because nobody needs that kind of hassle when they are spending that much money
i dont know of HSY but some of my cousins and friends have had a great experience with Sonia Azhar when they were really short of time..
I would not reccommed Sonia Azhar to you - i had the worst experience with her. I went to Lahore for 4 weeks recently and ordered 2 suits from her - firstly they were like really late in delivery and when we got them we found out that she gave us the samples from her studio and had just unpicked the sides to make the size a bit bigger. There were holes all over the kameez and it was so dirty because obviously people had been trying it on.
Her tailors are crap because they cant sew capri's or trousers - i had to get them made separately from someone else which was a hassle.
If you go to her i would advise that when you pick an outfit make sure you dont get it made exactly as the sample otherwise she will probably give you that one.

i think with designers its a gamble when u asked them to post the item back to whereever u are based, its best to say, as we did, we are here for x amount of weeks and pls could you make it in that time, if not, then go elsewhere! I ordered suits from maria b and nickie nina and they all arrived a few days early, with designers some ppl can be a bit shy in voicing opinions, but is our money we are spending!
