Re: Has anyone tried Estee lauder's Idealist even skintone illuminator?
If you have pigmentation, especially from acne or anything like that, I'd say after about a week you notice they are fading a lot faster. It's also great for keeping skin hydrated. Coincidently, it's being discussed on another forum and an electrologist mentioned that it's a must for all her clients for aiding in skin healing.

Well, I have none of these issues with my face and I use it daily. I actually have oily skin. My skin tone has improved and pretty much everyone who saw me after a gap of a few months said my skin was glowing... which is what prompted the question, what am I using and how can they get some.
I've used it for pigmentation on the body and it's worked wonderfully.

Hey stoppit,
thankyou for sharing this!!!
I am very fair skinned and had a great deal of sun damage after being exposed to the sun without sunscreen! (never again!)
I got RHO and witch hazel from naturally thinking and have been using it for about 1.5 week. I am already noticing a difference...the freckles look slightly faded and skin feels supple...so I am totally convinced and will continue using it...
Also ordered their face polish and face mask...I am thinking I'll add a drop or two of the rosehip oil in them both before using...I am sure they are just as good...

sajalina where have u ordered it from? Is it available at body shop or any stores in US?
reading all these posts, i'm contemplating it too......my skin is on the dryer side and doesn't react well to new products (so im very wary of trying new products)...I don't have acne scars, but undereye circles and some pigmentation around my mouth...Personally I see my skin and its just.."meh"...would this help?

alishaht - thanks for reporting back. yes, it's meant to help UV damaged skin.
sara - buy a good brand and use it daily and i'm sure it will help the condition of your skin. everyone i have given it to says their skin is better hydrated.

Twice but don't overdo it. Use just a drop or too with the Witch Hazel as I described - it makes a huge difference to the oiliness of the oil! Making it much more pleasant to use. Also, the witch hazel is good for your skin and acne.
Re: Has anyone tried Estee lauder's Idealist even skintone illuminator?
does the witch hazel suitable for dry skin too? and what if i just use rosehip oil after my clinique clarifying lotion? would it be okay? im soon to be ordering one bottle for myself and another one for my mum from naturally thinking...should i get the one with the pump stoppit?
Re: Has anyone tried Estee lauder's Idealist even skintone illuminator?
Witch hazel is suitable for all skin types. You can use it after the clarifying lotion.
I don't use any regular products apart from my moisturiser. The witch hazel tones and using it with the rosehip gets any extra gunk off your face (try using it with the cotton pad method I described after removing makeup and see). I don't have any need for something like the clarifying lotion because to be witch hazel plus rosehip seem to do the same thing.... always with the witch hazel dampened cotton pad though!!!!
For the witch hazel, if you are buying 100ml, it's enough for one person and you can buy an atomiser cap to put on it. If you are buying more (for more than one person), you can buy two empty 100ml aluminium bottles and two atomiser caps and transfer.
For the rosehip, 100ml is fine. But don't buy a pump. Buy two 10 or 30ml glass dropper bottles with pipette dropper lids and pour the rosehip into these for everyday use.
