Re: Hard lesson Learnt

Look at the brighter side :) every bad thing has a good thing with it

hmmm...that happened to me too.. u r rite...

If things don't go the way we planned it just reminds us that ultimately Allah(swt) has control over everything and whichever path he chooses to lead us down he's doing it for our best even though it may not seem like it at the time.

Re: Hard lesson Learnt

SO true syra ... i read somewhere : life is wat happens whn you're busy making other plans

But that will an advice. you were asking for the lessons learned.

You made me to hate those yellow Gola ghanda which i used to eat when I was a Kid. :(

Re: Hard lesson Learnt

never get one colored ones ... always get em multicolored and with condensed milk (comelle) on top of it .... ahhhhh heavenly

We may not like things that r against us, but we can certainly accept itas a part of life and make a mental note of improving ourselves for the future and try to move on. We can only MOVE FWD whethers its physically, emotionally or mentally. Even if it’s recognizing ur flaws, uve made some progress and that should COUNT!!

Re: Hard lesson Learnt

Two lessons I learned well but the hard way in my life-

Never make a person your priority unless you have the same spot in their life. Always treat people the way they treat you- not any better nor worse okay sometimes better, but if they don't mend their ways, treat them the way they treat you so they get the point

Never look back, don't ever think coulda shoulda woulda and always take responsibility for what you said/did.

Re: Hard lesson Learnt

I learnt to never get complacent, just because you have it all now, doesn't mean you won't ever lose it.

I learnt to give people chances and stop being so harsh and critical, and to step in people's shoes for a day before opening my mouth and sounding so ignorant.

I learnt that without having rememberance of my Lord and Creator in my life , I am nothing but another person without deen - it taught me not be arrogant about anything I have ever achieved or have, because it's not me who has achieved it, it's because Allah swt has bestowed His Mercy upon me and therefore I have that.

look at your fingers when you are pointing at someone. never point the finger at anyone, because you have 3 fingers pointing back at you..

Re: Hard lesson Learnt

Lesson 1 - Never trust the people you work with. They will sell you out in 2 seconds and purposely want to sabotage your career.

Lesson 2 - Unfortunately in this cruel cruel word...you have to FAKE IT till you MAKE IT.

Re: Hard lesson Learnt

lesson 1, don't eat spicy food, what goes in must come out.
lesson 2, always always know where you're going (in life, in relationship etc) because if you don't know where you're going, how're you gonna know when you get there.
