Re: Haq mehr
There is a Hadith whereby our Prophet (PBUH) said that the mehr should be no less than 10 dirhams. I don’t have the reference to hand right now as I’m on my phone.
There is no maximum amount, but it’s preferred to request a reasonable amount. Using common sense, that’d be anything within his means.
