That’s quite true. Still i wouldn’t want to make people unintentionally feel uncomfortable. Some people think someone saying too many compliments which seem over the top may mean they have ulterior motives/something to gain or are trying too hard to please. Not sure what a random anonymous person online can gain from compliments I don’t know if it’s a desi thing but we seem to be suspicious and wary of compliments from unexpected sources. It’s like we don’t know how to react to it so sometimes we doubt if it is genuine rather than just accept it.
