Ours is a public limited company. It pays taxes; and for employee, tax is deducted monthly from salary.
There are quite a few banefits of paying tax. You can get your own NTN (national tax number ) which is a must for doing business with corporate sector and you are considered executive (by govt.) in your company. Maintained Bank account is a must for any loan, lease etc.

strange to hear you know about your tax very late, even pay doesnt go through bank accounts.
the accounts people submit a tax returns end of the tax year in pak for private companies. I remember getting end of year tax statement from the company with whole year salaries and tax deductions. and it wasnt very big company at that time.
anyway the only people who pay taxes are employees, both private and goverment. cause they get this after deductions tax and others funds
business people always avoid paying taxes, the largest tax evaders are Landlords, no tax at all.
businessmen, not more than 20%max (myguess) of the total they should pay.
