There is Chung Moi in Scarborough at the intersection of Kennedy and Eglinton. Everyone who has eaten their hakka chinese food always go back again and again.
Re: halal chinese in toronto
Wishkamar i ate at chung moi once, loved it. Went back a second time, didnt like it as much ![]()
I have heard of Orange Chicken but its not something desi hakka places cater too much. Most of them just do the run of the mill Szechuan, Manchurian and Chilli flavours. Some are brave enough to venture into brocolli with beef / chicken but desi customers dont let that work.
DT, in Mississauga call these places up:
Salt n Pepper
Hot n Sour
Fusion Wok
Hakka Magic
Eddie’s Wok N Roll (serve alcohol)
Ming Room (serve alcohol)
Bao Shin (serve alcohol)

Re: halal chinese in toronto
Man! Singapore Garden rocks!
I've been to, Hot and Sour, Salt and Pepper, Lin Garden, Malaysia Inn, Hakka magic. However, singapore garden out does them in cooking as well as menu choices.
Hot and Sour/Salt Pepper, are so desified, they cook with too much salt, it tastes like desi food in the end.
Service at singapore garden is really slow! even slower if you go at busy times! However, food is worth the wait.
