Yea I had a hair disaster 3 months ago. It was suppose to be a long asymmetric bob but I ended up with a kuch kuch hota hai kajol cut. But I didn't mind the length, just the style. I like cutting my hair, I feel like I'm cutting off all the crap I went through in the past. Emotionally lighter :)

Haha Sadzz. Sometimes long hair needs cutting for the greater good!

I always chop my locks off once iv failed something. In 2007 I couldnt for the life of me pass my literacy skills test for my teaching degree, cut my hair off, passed the test!

In 2011, after I had failed my driving test twice, cut all my hair off, passed me test third time with only 2 minors!

I honesly believe my long hair was weighing my life down (let’s ignore the fact that I cried about it for 2 weeks afterwards).

lol, do you know how many times after a jaghra with the husband ive contemplated on chopping the locks off? its like…“you be mean to me, i chop my hair!”

I had waist long hair back in college and my friend convinced me to get a cut. They were an effort of around 7-8 years. When i got the hair cut (which was actually nice) I felt like there isn't anything on my head and kept touching my head to feel that there are still some hair left on my skull.

Didn't try to grow them until now but now i don't know what to do with them. I think tying them gives me a massi (maid) look. And keeping them loose everyday isn't a good idea anyway.

Happened to me 2 years ago..I went in and asked my stylist to trim and get rid of my split ends and BAM! what i get is a step cut,with my hair just reaching my shoulders..i wanted to scream at her sooo bad,but just controlled myself. Got back home and got an earful from my mom :)

Immediately went shopping for all sizes of bobby pins cuz the hair just wudn't stay in a ponytail. Next day at college, i heard the kids sitting behind me in class,count my bobby pins :-/

LOL, this reminded me of a girl in my class once who had a pixie cut and then emptied a full package of bobby pins on her non-existent untamed tresses!

its always the opposite with me.. I always tell her chop the whole thing offf.. shes like na uh we are desi and ur face is too big to carry short hair well

When I get tired of my short hair I pin them up and make a nice beehive and then no one can tell I have short hair.

I had long hair…waist length.

got a haircut done this January.

Wow, that was daring. From what I can see, both hair styles look good. My hair were almost the same length as yours maybe a bit longer, and right now they are up to my collar bone. And yes, I still hate them, they’re not growing at the same pace they usually do. :crying:

i'm ocd! when I go for a trim i am like yeah cut of 0.2 of of an inch, and i keep reminding the damn woman, not much off, not much off...i think they freaked out by how many times i tell them, and yeah they still end up chopping and inch or 2 more than I want but thats why you have to go in with a fierce look and don't get distracted by the coffee wafers and magazines, keep an eye out on how much shes chopping off....

I'm only like this coz this cow of a hairdresser gave me a nasty short fringe which took months to look normal...

this happend quite a few years back and I went to this chinese place to get a haircut and the lady barely spoke english. I told her the kind of haircut I wanted and she pretty much cut my hair the way she wanted. So the next time I was like okay, I am going to tell her exactly what I want and had this whole speech with everything and she still cut it the way she wanted. The next time I went for a haircut I printed out a picture and took it with me and pointed to the picture that this is what I want and I thought this was the full proof method. She can't speak engilsh, no problem, she can still see it and cut it properly and guess what I got the same haircut again.
Please don't ask me why I went to the same place three times because I have no idea myself.
