I really like "Farouk CHI Turbo 2-inch Ceramic Ionic Flat Hair Iron". It's generally a $140, but if you look on amazon or ebay you can find some really good deals for it.
all this time i was thinking desi girls have such chinese looking hair...now i know the secret! lol..i feel better now..:) i tried wetline in the mall once for a demo and a girl later asked me if my hair was extensions..so i think it must be really good. it was pink and really skinny.
same one i am talking about!

yes the pink and skinny one-- thats the one my friend bought and i regret not buying it bc its soooooo good-- u can straighten curl do eevrything with it-- its like $115 i think-- but def worth it-- u might as well buy a really good one yeh a bit priceyy but hey better than spending so much constantly on stuff that doesnt work-- or u can always use a regular iron ;) i used to use that-- and it worked great and mashallah never damaged my hair-- the only time my hair was damaged was when i went to the salon to get a cut and the gori ma'ams are like wow u have healthy beautiful hair then it started falling out-- they never sed mashallah :( pagal loag!! lol

I barely use an iron cause my hair is already straight but the one i do own and LOOOVEE
is the remington. its lyk brown and pink on the inside. If you have an Ulta or Bed bath and beyond near you you can easily find then for around $ 60 dollars!
where i live the entire pakistani community Loooveess this iron!

'm a hairstylist....i use "Hair art" straightner....its ionic....
i use remington hair staightner . its about 35$ but i jus say on a sale paper it was for 20$ now. i luv remington. it works g8 and fast also u cud give ur hair a lil curve or curl for it too. i kinda find it wasting money to buy a straightner for 100$ or something. i mean u r kidding me? i use my straightner 2 or 3 times a week. as i play around wit my hair alot either curl em or blow dry or braids and stuff. so i think mine is a g8 price and g8 worker :D

turbo CHI 2 in. It usually like $230, but u can find some good deals online.
I have tried using VS and Remington but with both of them I found that my hair would only stay straight for a couple of hours and then it would begin to wave (even though my hair isn't really curly, just wavy). So anyway then I decided to buy a GHD which was $300 and OMG it's amazing. Iv'e had mine for about 2 years now and when I straighten my hair it stays super straight until I wash it. I don't use it often, maybe once a month or so because I don't want to damage my hair but wow it is seriously the best straightener I have ever tried.

I brought mine for £5 from Netto (how kanjoos, lol), and it works fine ^^ My hair stays pin striaight until the next time I wash it, and my hair isn't too badly damaged either. I can't remember the make because I can't find the box but sometimes cheap straighteners are also good. I heard Chri's and GhD's are meant to be good, but I can't afford them right now, but lots of people say they're some of the best hair straighteners out there.

it straightens AND curls..really nice iron and worth $135
