Hair Oil

Re: Hair Oil

[QUOTE]

People blv the more oil u put the better u're hair becomes..that isn't true since u're using more chemicals in u're shampoo to wash it out.

So it doesnt make your hair "better"? Then why do we use it?

Re: Hair Oil

Niks i have had great results with heated almond oil.
keep it on for an hour or so, otherwise it will clog the hair follicles and cause the hair to fall out.
wash with semi warm water...and diluted shampoo/water...until its all out.

Re: Hair Oil

Re: Hair Oil

Either olive oil alone. OR olive oil combined with mustard oil and methi seeds.

Coconut oil tends to make my hair dry. And I haven't tried almond oil.

which oil thickens hair?

Oh really? keeping it on for just a few hours will definitely eliminate the messy pillowcase problem then

Im surprised nobody has mentioned kalonji oil? its been mentioned before in several threads…
I have stored coconut oil, bio-amla (love hte smell!) , olive oil, and now kalonji…what other oils should we keep on hand? ??

My husband has a dandruff problem, normally he washes his hair wiht his shampoo and then applies the oil. He claims it’s really helped his dandruff situation.

My own hair is in pretty good condition, whatever little bit I have left  I just want it to be thick and long and healthy. Also its been falling out alot more lately due to a change in hormones i suppose. I haven’t been using any oils so far, any suggestions?

Re: Hair Oil

guys after reading this thread i went and bought castor oil at the weekend and i have to say after the first use my hair feels very soft!

i have always oiled my hair have used most things including Coconut, olive almond and amla....

will also try **kalonji **and mix it up as someone has suggested on here

i also heard Arnica Oil is great for hairloss, a cousin lost a lot of hair dus to ilness and this is what apparantly made it grown back, but its hard to get hold of

I know its not oil but the one thing which guarantees to make my hair shine like a mirror is a whipped raw egg! - i mix it with a little olive oil apply it to my hear and leave it until it dries - eggs are protein and so is hair so it does it a lot of good - the only down side is the smell!! it takes 2 washes to get rid of that!!!

Re: Hair Oil

I use a mixed oil i get from wembley in London. Its called Mahabhringaraj oil. My scalp had started showing and i was really worried as I'd started shedding loads of hair. Since using this stuff I've noticed a huge change. It has lots of very good oils in. Such as amla, coconut, maka, brahmi, avocado, almond and herbs. i sound like an advert. I love this oil so much I'm going to stock up when I'm there next.
