I was watching the video of this song today and the music sounded so familiar. I kept thinking where I heard the song :frusty: and then I realized it was this thread where I had heard it. :smiley:

Its been re-mixed and re-sung couple of times between India and Pakistan artists. I beleive the origin was India (but mulsim writer + composers).

I can upload it to someone if they need the full song!!! Amazing song. Rest of the album sucks pretty much. Some people will LOVE the (i beleive paki) song "09-Solitude" of the same album (sad depressing kinda song). Most will ignore it :)

It's pretty painful and tragic but true sentiments being thrown into the lyrics but somehow the german guy Karunesh remixed it to make it more accessible to a larger audience and you could see the result. The violin after 2 mins is the only justification to the lyrics and it shows the equal pain and longing the girl's showing. For most of other desi people, I definitely recommend listening to the whole album, Global Village. At least the song "Prayer of Joy" would blow you guys away, that's my word on it. I can upload prayer of joy for you guys and send the link, if that's allowed, anyway.
