Mr Raj why you said more accurate than Holy Quran ..... you are just accepting the part of your liking from the above explanation...(smile)
its a reality that Allah sent messenger and holy books for the spiritual development of mankind ... it was the decision of ALLAH almighty when and why send new Holy book ..
it is written in HOLY QURAN that (ALLAH says) (they alter the words of book for little benifits)
It should not be amazing for you that we know ALLAH sent more than 124000 messengers ..... (Smile) ..... not for all but for few messengers ALLAH tells the places and nations to whome the messengers were sent ...
If you want to know the reality check the QURANIC Aayats (Direct messages from ALLAH).... not for muslims ... but for all manking ..... check QURAN ...you will feel it is not for muslim,s only ...
Bridging the gap is not the target ... target is to understand what is writtten in Holy Books .... (Smile)

Iftikhar Sahib, so far as I know is that ALLAH has confirmed only three books in holy quran which were sent by HIM, ie Torah, Zaboor, and Injeel. None of those book were able to make such accurate prediction as predicting the coming of the holy prophet, with his, his mother's name and place. Even holy quran hasnt make any such prediction.( I believe that even vedas or any other scripture hasnt made any suchs prediction too). So vedas or any hindu scripture,which so called muslim scholars surf and pick things of their fancy, iss not even a confirmed litrature as per Islamic belief. How can it make such accurate prediction and that tooo some 3500 years before coming of the holy prophet is something that I cant digest. And even if these scriptures were altered for little benefit than why this exact prediction of coming of the holy prophet wasnt altered?
Thats why I say that giving so much credence to those man made scriptures and extracting lies from them just to spread what U call is the truth (Islam) is nothing short of fitnah. Feel free to differ with me.
As U say Iftikhar saab, that target is to understand what is written in holy quran, I have nothing to differ with. But I must say that that target is yet to be achieved. I m waiting for the time when muslims will become muslims as ALLAH wants them to be,that day a muslim will be really authorized to preach Islam to a non muslim. InshaAllah.
