^ Walaikum Assalam brother. JazakAllah khair for the kind words of encouragement.
Take protection with your shields
Abu Hurairah (RA) narrates: Rasulullah (SAW) came to us and said:
Take protection with your shields! Sahabah (Prophet's companions) asked: O Rasulullah! is there a threat of some enemy coming? He said: Take protection with your shields against the Fire (of Hell)! Say, Subhanallah (Allah is flawless), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illallah (None is worthy of worship but Allah), Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest). On the Day of Resurrection, these words will come from the front, back, right and left (defence from all sides) of the one who had recited them, and ensure deliverence for him, and these are those good deeds for which the reward will be given eternally.

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
Narrated Ibn Abbas (r.a):
I (in my boyhood) went out with the Prophet on the day of ‘Id ul Fitr or Id-ul-Adha. The Prophet prayed and then delivered the Khutba and then went towards the women, preached and advised them and ordered them to give alms.

** "Remember often the terminator (or destroyer) of all the pleasures ,"*
the Prophet (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) once reminded us. (at-Tirmidhi.)*

‘Say: The Truth has come from your Lord. Let him who will, believe it, and let him who will, reject it.’
(al-Kahf 18: 29)
‘Abdur Rahmân ibn Abi Bakrah (radhiallâhu anhu) narrated on the authority of his father that the Prophet (sallallâhu ‘alayhi wasallam) said, **
“If Allâh wants to do good to a person, he makes him comprehend the religion; and of course knowledge is attained by learning.” **
(Bukhâri 1/67)
Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
Hadith by Anas, collected in Al-Tabarani.
"Anas relates that, "We asked the Prophet, 'O Messenger of Allah,
shouldn't we refrain from calling others to goodness if we don't
practice all good things ourselves, and shouldn't we refrain from
forbidding wrong things until we ourselves have abatained from all the
bad?' *'No,' **he replied, *'You should call others to goodness even if you
don't do all good, and you should forbid bad things even if you don't
abstain from all of them yourselves.'" **

hmm i trying my best to find a reference :s and insha allah i will but it is kinda contradictory :S
Usamah bin Zaid (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Prophet (PBUH) said,*** "I am not leaving behind me a more harmful trial for men than women".***
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Commentary: According to this Hadith, women and their beauty are the greatest and most disastrous mischief for men. This fact can be easily verified by observation. Men are generally constrained to take to corruption and unfair means of income to fulfill undue demands of their wives. If women learn to lead a simple life, men will not need much to make money through unlawful means. Similarly, it is women who compel men to hold all kinds of meaningless customs and ceremonies on marriage parties and thereby violate Islamic injunctions, and incur more expenses. If women go by the Islamic injunctions, the marriages would become a greater source of happiness and pleasure.
Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
This is as is stated in a Hadith Qudsi:
**"My slave continues getting closer to Me by performing voluntary deeds until I love him."

[QUOTE]
A young man came before the Rasul with a carpet and said, "O Rasul! I passed through a wood and heard the voices of young birds; and I took and put them into my carpet; and their mother came fluttering around my head, and I uncovered the young, and the mother fell down upon them, then I wrapped them up in my carpet; and there are the young which I have." Then the Rasul said, "Put them down." And when he did so, their mother joined them: and the prophet (saw) said,** "Do you wonder at the affection of the mother towards her young? I swear by Him who hath sent me, verily God is more loving to His creatures than the mother to these young birds. Return them to the place from which ye took them, and let their mother be with them."**

Allah says, **
"If your fathers or your sons or your brothers or your wives or your tribe, or any wealth you have acquired, or any business you fear may slump, or any dwelling-places which please you, are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and fighting hard in jihad in His Way, then wait until Allah brings about His command." **

Anas reported that the Messenger of Allah said,** "None of you will believe until I am more beloved to him than his children, his father and all people."**
