Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
The Holy Prophet (S) said:
"The most (important) things that cause people to reach Heaven are divine piety and a good temper"
- Behar al-Anwar, volume 71, page 373
Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (AS) was asked about the meaning of "piety" when he replied:
"Piety is that Allah does not miss you in the place where He has commanded you to be, and does not see (find) you where He has forbidden you from"
- Safinat al-Behar, volume 2, page 678
Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
Narrated by Hazrat Abu Musa (Radiallhu anhu):
The Prophet (saw) said:
"The example of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like abundant rain falling on the earth, some of which was fertile soil that absorbed rain water and brought forth vegetation and grass in abundance. (And) another portion of it was hard and held the rain water and Allah benefited the people with it and they utilized it for drinking, making their animals drink from it and for irrigation of the land for cultivation. (And) a portion of it was barren which could neither hold the water nor bring forth vegetation (then that land gave no benefits).
The first is the example of the person who comprehends Allah's religion and gets benefit (from the knowledge) which Allah has revealed through me (the Prophets and learns and then teaches others. The last example is that of a person who does not care for it and does not take Allah's guidance revealed through me (He is like that barren land.)"
[Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 3, Number 79]
Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
Great ones brother, thanks a lot.
Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud relates that the Holy Prophet said:
Truth guides to virtue and virtue guides to Paradise. A person persists in telling the truth till in the sight of Allah he is named Truthful. Lying leads to vice and vice leads to the Fire; and a person goes on lying till in the sight of Allah he is named a liar
(Bokhari and Muslim).
In relation to this, is not the Hadith. The sahabas, whihc is a unique generation in the history of mankind and taught by the Prophet, use to invoke to Allaah please accept, atleast one sujood(Prostration of mine) here are the sahabas and then later, use to invoke if i knew which sujood Allah will accept, to grant them Paradise.
Again, Allaah knows the best.

^JazakAllah brother for sharing your views.:)
Abu Hurairah relates that the Holy Prophet (saw) said*:*
Follow the faith strictly and be steadfast; and remember that no one can achieve salvation through his conduct. Someone asked: Not even you, Messenger of Allah? He said: Nor I, save that Allah should cover me with His mercy and grace
(Muslim).

**Hazrat Adi ibn Hatim (r.a) relates:
**I heard the Holy Prophet say:
If a person takes an oath to do a certain thing and then discovers something that is closer to righteousness than the first, he should do the second
(Muslim).
Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
Hazrat Abu Malik Ash'ari (r.a) relates that
the Holy Prophet (saw) said:
Cleanliness is half of faith; the utterance of:** All praise belongs to Allah*; fills the scales of good works; the utterance of: **Holy is Allah and worthy of all praise; fills the space between the heavens and earth; Prayer is light; charity is proof of faith: steadfastness is a glow and the Quran is a plea in **your favour* or against you. Everyone begins the morning ready to bargain with his soul as a stake and ransoms it or ruins it
(Muslim).

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
Abu Hurairah (r.a) has related that the Holy Prophet (saw) said:
Prayer in congregation is more than twenty-seven (correction) times greater in merit than Prayer at home or in the shop etc. Therefore, when a person makes his ablutions carefully and proceeds to the mosque with the sole purpose of joining in the service his station rises in grade at every step and one of his sins is wiped out.
From the moment he enters the mosque he is accounted as a participant in the service while waiting for the service to begin, and, so long as he causes no inconvenience to anyone and his state of purity is maintained, the angels continue to pray for him: Allah, have mercy upon him; Allah, forgive him; Allah, turn to him with compassion
(Bokhari and Muslim)
Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
La, its not twenty five times, its 27 times as related by Ibn Umar, in Bukhari brother, just look into it. I am confident of it, probably you missed it out.
Rest of the hadith is fine, just look into 27 times please.
Jazak Allaah for Good work.
Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
^ You are right brother. I appologise, may Allah (swt) forgive me for my mistake as it was unintentional. JazakAllah khair for correction.
The Prophet Muhammad SAWS told the story of two men, one of whom would commit sin and the other would strive to do his best in the world. When the man who exerted himself in worship continued to see the other in sin, he would say*: "Refrain from (sinning)."* The sinner replied*: "Leave me alone with my Lord. Have you been sent as a watchman over me?" **The man who tried to do his best then said: "I swear by Allah, Allah will not forgive you, nor will He admit you to Paradise." **When they both died and came before Allah, He told the man who had striven hard in worship: "Did you have knowledge about Me or had you power over that which I had in My hand?" **Allah then said to the man who sinned:* "Go and enter Paradise by My mercy***."*

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
Abu Hurairah (ra) said:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said,
"By the One in Whose Hand my soul is! If you do not commit sins, Allah would replace you with a people who would commit sins and seek forgiveness from Allah; and Allah will certainly forgive them.''
[Muslim].
Commentary: This Hadith does not mean that Allah likes disobedience. But by this way of description, the aim is to emphasize the importance of seeking forgiveness from Allah. We know that every man commits sins. But Allah likes those people who, after committing a sin, do not stick to it, but right away seek forgiveness for their sins from Allah. They weep and express sorrow before Allah. By seeking forgiveness, a relationship with Allah is established between man and his Creator. So seeking forgiveness is a very good act.

[Al-Bukhari].
