mashaAllah you are doing good…this is the sunnah of our prophets like Musa Alaihi salam and younus alaihi…they also did astaghfar at the time of worry and test…so be patient and indeed Allah loves you 
and you never know the hikmat of any trial..Allah is Al Aleem…only He knows what is good for you and why He tests His slaves…so remain patient…indeed in every trial there’s a blessing as well…could you please read and ponder over the verses of surah al kahf…where hazrat khizar alaihi killed the boy by the command of Allah…
and what he replied hazrat musa alaihi here is the answer…
And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief. (80) So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy. (81)surah kahf
so you never know why things happen…blessing in disguise sometimes:)
