but if you’re trying to make the point, then with **most **other aspects between the two being equal, **i **think the pretty girl would get more proposals than the educated one (given she wasn’t as pretty).. in fact if a girl is pretty enough, some of the other negative aspects are even easier to overlook by some people.. sad.. but true

This is actually true. I have seen that happen a lot yo. Pretty ones are given priority over educated with normal looks. And as someone mentioned it has to do personality. So hell to the ya for pretty one with good personality!!

How unattractive is the girl who is educated?

There has to be some sort of attraction for one to want to spend their life with someone.

Also, with beauty can come vanity, but with a high level of education can come a sense of self righteousness and superiority.

How pretty is the pretty and by whose definition? Also what is highly educated? From where? What field? Surely there is a difference in people in different fields and different type of institutions.

In the end personality is the most important aspect. That however is not an option here.

Agreed, personality is an important factor. I have to find her attractive but she doesn’t have to look like a super model. I also think she should be educated, but having a degree does not equal enlightenment. It all depends on the “other” aspect. I would be okay with someone very pretty with a moderate education, as well as with someone very educated and moderately pretty, as long as I found her personality attractive.

I object.Lets just assume it correct for a sec then what is the case with being a lady doctor, why do they have edge over other pretty girls.In the Indian subcontinent, being a doctor, your chances are million times higher of getting good proposals from affulent families.Here, Parents want there daughters to become doctors, not to serve humanity but to get married soon.
