Unless you are a biker or a super-spy (like Tom Cruise) out saving the world, leather/suede jackets are worn as accent pieces. What kind (cut) of leather jacket you wear depends on the occassion. An evening out or evening with friends, wear a suede jacket. If you are just hanging out, wear a classic leather biker jacket -- zipper front with full collar and straight waist (not "elasticated" :D). Fancy, over-accessorized (sp?), or slanted front just don't look very good and go out of style very quickly. Stick with the timeless straight zipper ...you can wear it with anything.
Dollar amount is not a determinant of how good a leather jacket looks on you. If price is the criterion, Belstaff makes some very stlish jakcets but they are also very expensive and may be too accessorized (sp?) for everyday use. If you have cash to burn and you happen to be in Roma or Milano, you can have exquisitely tailor-made leather jacket (the wait at the tailor could be as long as 4 months and the cheapest jacket will cost you 3-4xairfare. )

yeah i were leather jacket, it suits nice on any one, but not a MOTORBIKE jack juckk i hate that one, i will post a pic of my jack for excample ;)

It depends. some guys wear leather jackets because they think it makes them look tough or cool. It ends up looking like a costume, especially if it's a cheap, biker one. I personally like it when my husband wears his Calvin Klein leather jacket. It's a very thin, black leather. It's buttery soft in a shirt style. It's very casual and nicely made. It just suits him and fits him well.

Wear a leather jacket if you have an atheletic body. Your shoulders should be broad and waist small. A nicley styled leather jacket accentuates the curves of your hips :D

Okay, wher ecan I take my leather jacket to be fixed? its soo huge n baggy now, i havnt worn it for yrs, n i dont want it to go to waste.. but i don wanna spend so much $$ jus so it can be ruined when I cud buy a perfectly gud new one

Cheap jackets/styles look cheap , but a really nice, tailored one, makes you look more elegant n sophisticated..

its not the price, but how its made n how it fits.. anything that doesnt fit well or isnt stitched with care will look cheap n crappy

exactly.... its not the matter of only with leather jackets .....every garments u wear , if it doesnt fit u , it will obviously look cheap....

I don't think wearing a leather jacket is necessarily a cheap/tacky look ... but very few people can pull it off and look hot. It really depends on the style and how it fits you.
