dekhain ji urdu adab mien sharab i shabab raaz andaaz aashiq o mehbub etc par bhi bohot baat hoti hai, log ussay ish e majaazi keh kar jaan bacha laitay hain
hum bhi majaazi concpets par baat kar rahay hain..

I dont drink. period
smoking, last I smoked was in october at a conf, clients had some top notch cigars refusing them would be stupid :)

desire does not always mean the desire is fulfilled or should be fulfilled

if that was teh case I would have been in a lot of trouble :D

this is a ripe case for philosophy.
we cant have religion as disregarded. yet, we can also not say that will power and a sense of right and wrong will make us take the right action nd behave accordingly complete with out intentions, desires, moods and attitudes as well as core beliefs that must ideally scale across our individual and social aspects of our lives. same for private or public spheres of our lives.
some people are lucky that they are integral and that they find company that brings out the best in them. and others are always demanding change in others for own sake, yet hardly ever care to be reciprocal.
and that is not transparent nor is it ethical.
being truthful about one's desires and intentions is much better than being a bad impression.

Tariq bhai, you are right that working against what one wants is going to work counter productive and will look deceitful.

yet, Fraudia bhai, is right, that desires, even simple, non hurtful ones, dont always materialize.

now this is a very simple study on my part. all of us deep inside are known better by Allah swt.
and i think i trust ourselves enough that i can safely say, even when we share thoughts on and about something as 'guys should not use these smilies' or 'desires as the night starts', people dont mean dark evil things.

am i right?
