BC gone too. WI Milwaukee with another upset. They are in the sweet sixteen now.
BTW, anyone watch that utah v sooners game? Andrew bogut, wow. That guy never seizes to amaze me. He's a centre with point guard's skills. Barring a horrible accident of any sort, he's going first overall this summer in the draft no doubt. Best aussie basket ball player no doubt. Behind luc longley :D
If you have paid attention to the Illini lately you would know their best player has been Augustine the last 5 games - Dee was playing sick with a stomach virus, had cramps, only took 4 shots, and got knocked the hell outta his world in a collision.. With that said.. He still came back and played.. That's why I love Dee.. He never gives up.. He brings the effort and energy to Illinois basketball.
Very magnificent job by Augustine and Ingram today.. Oh yeah.. How about the kid Deron Williams?
One more thing.. Bruce Pearl.. Bring it :D
What's amazing about Okalahom-Utah game was that Oklahoma shot 66 field goals, but Utah shot 37. That's practically 2-1.
I'm Kool - Bogut was definitely extraordinary
i have always thought of him as a capable passer but today, against a very physical and harassing Sooner defense , a quality defense , he just went on to a completely new level as a player with his passing game
He truly is a special talent
For me ... I'm starting to see him as one of the most complete and well rounded big man to be coming into NBA since Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett.
That was…one unbelieveable basketball game i have ever seen!!! After tonight’s games, I anticipate tomorrow being a huge letdown personally – No way in heck these games match the intensity of tonight and level of play – I expect two ball games played in the 60’s tomorrow, unless UNC blows Wisconsin out of the water.
Illinois and arizona game became a matter of who was togher mentally. after the illinois run in the last few minutes Arizona were just beaten mentally, you could see it in the OT. Any team that blows such a lead in the last 3 minutes does not deserve to move any farther in the competition.
