I didn't get any notification..........so if you break friendship, it doesn't send a message.

Riya You can add someone as a friend and they shouldn't be able to see your blog. Just make sure that you don't add them as contact because I believe contacts are the one that can see private blogs.

Yea i just noticed that too ... Contacts and Friends are two different things :)

But I think if some one is friend than he can access private info. too ... but contacts are only contacts :)
