Gupshup : Confession Thread

I’ve told this story here on GS before but it was long ago…sorry to be repetitive but OMG it was JUST so embarrassing!!

It was the big meeting day, where my hubby (at that time he had just proposed to me) was going to meet my parents for a BBQ. We were all out on the deck, BBQ ablaze and parents were getting to know him…during a kind of awkward lull in the conversation, I announced proudly to my republican/conservative/navy-type parents “He quit smoking all on his own! He went to the doc and got the prescription for Viagra but he didnt even need it!”

O.M.G.!!!

I confused viagra with chantix…all those darn commercials man. They all just looked at me with jaws dropped to the floor. I made the most profound wish that the earth would just open up and swallow me.

gosh this is just beyond belief, how did he ever get over that one?
