google is undefinitely much faster than pak.org....
all i said is that ur resuluts r not accurate....
but u have to brag about everything....
i kow the amount of transactions made on a discussion forum like this r huge and hence these sites tend to be SLOW....
so there is nothing wrong with that....
but it doesnt mean that u put such results to show that pak.org loads faster than google or other sites....
ok here is the result i got…
very much similar to confused’s results…
but i have NOT DELETED the two lines from the results which said
ERROR: INVALID RESPONSe
and HTTP NOT FOUND
why did confused remove this from the picture???
cuz it shows that the time shown was not for the gupshup to load but just to contactthe server and get AN ERROR message in return cuz nothing was found
“Our Lord! forgive us our sins and anything we may have done that transgressed our duty; establish our feet firmly and help us against those that resist faith.” Quran(3:147)
Armughal, feels like im talkin to a kid yar.. dekho, even for a http 404 response, a server HAS to respond. Even if there is no document, the server responds with a 404. OK? Now do a check on pak.org and see what you get.
I think this site tests ONLY the initial response time, and not the time it takes to load a page, since that depends entirely on the design of the page. For e.g. CNN might have a quicker response time but its front page loads slower than gshup on my PC.

And just because in your hurry to trash anything good, you forgot to read confused’s explanation of the test result, here it is… does it mention “page loading” anywhere?
And as far as the question of page loading, thats a different issue. Confused had posted results about how fast the server is now accessible, compared to other popular sites, and you are rambling about whether the pages are loading fast or not. Talk about tangents! issay kehtay hein, sawaal gandum, jawab channa
Speed of page loading depends on many things, including the graphics and the contents. Look what Ammar told you about CNN.

history is repeating .. I had other fruitless arguments with guy earlier ... not worth spending my time ...
but for others ..
the error messages are caused cuz the URL that I was giving the Alret site was a cgi script. in reality, the script is asking for a web page (.html) .. so, some stupid warning messages .. prolly the javascript that it cant undestand and IE browsers can ...
this guy did not believe anyone here and had to go out and confirm ... and when the results came back similar to what confused posted, he got big time khasyana and started talking bout the error messages ..
I will say it again, this was a connectivity test and we are not competing with any body on content delivery. and still this guy has to bring in google and **** like that ... kher ...
