Yeah I am not sure if one should scan their passport on public sites. Did anyone order stuff from Gul ahmed abroad and assures its safe to do so??

I want to order a few of the outfits. I live in America. is the cost of what it is in the website for the whole outfit already sitched or is it just the fabric?

the cost is for the fabric only. they have yet to add ready made clothes under the "garments" section. btw, they also accept a scanned copy of your driver's license or utility bill instead of the passport...the address on the document and the credit card must match.

I bought suits from their Summer collection and paid Gul Ahmed to have the suits tailored - they charged me a pretty penny - but when I compared it to the tailoring costs here in North America it came to a little less. They did a pretty good job in terms of the fitting - but the suits were not embellished like you see in the catalog (they quoted those prices to me as well and it was a lot more than I was willing to pay).

My sis ordered suits from the Winter collection recently but when she asked for tailoring services as well, they said they could not tailor because they were too busy.

Cotton Cambric is actually very common in Pakistan. It's a little thicker than lawn and from what I hear people wear it in darmaiyana sa mousam when it's not hot or too cold.

Most of gulahmed's winter collection consists of cambric, now I don't understand how you can keep warm in winter wearing cambric.

Does anyone know any other websites where u could buy gulahmed or any other stitched casual winter wear for less.

has anyone ordered from the gul ahmed website yet? i've seen a couple of suits that i really like the look of but i'm a bit nervous ordering stuff online from Pakistan to be delivered to the UK as i've read some of the horror stories from fellow guppans about other Pakistani websites (bargello, fashionveer etc etc).
The website looks very professional and the suits look really good and the prices seem pretty reasonable.

I’ve asked hubby to buy this one, but I don’t know how to have it designed. The design on the pic is really good but I guess it’d look better on a long kameez but I want a kamiz just knees se ooper.
Any ideas of design?

These kinds of suits (the semi velvet ones )and even better design, not the same brand name I think u can easily get from China Market in Rawalpindi, my parents are going to pakistan this winter, so I think I will get some of these from them.
