While Gujjar discussion went on to visit of lollywood, I found out that Nala Gujjar is taken from the word ‘GujhRo’.. Gujh = Hidden / secret in Sindhi. There is a Union Council with the name of GujhRo in Karachi… Karachi was divided in more than 90 Deh.. One of them was Deh GujhRo… 55% of this Deh is now covered by Gulshan e Iqbal town, 20% Gulberg Town, 10% Gaddap Town, 15% is Liquatabad Town (most affected by this Gujjar Nala during rain).

This Deh covers area from Esa Nagri to Karachi University, Superhighway zero point, Sohrab Goth, Aisha mazil, Waterpump, Ancholi, Sindhi Hotel, Ghareebabad, Hasan Square, Azeezabad and ofcourse nine-zero :hehe:

The name GujhRo (secret / hidden) is due to sudden flow of water in Nala GujhRo.
