Both are correct. I also like to read poetry according to my mood. but when ever i am neutral then poetry effects my mood. definitely i am a normal person. ;)

I mostly like emotional and revolutionary poetry. As for as romantic poetry is concerned I just remember it for my wife.

I wrote just one shair in my whole life. or b apnay bechpan main. jb main 5th main tha.
abi tk yad hy mujay.

Log kehtay hn dosti ho jati hy khud b khud
hum to tenha rehtay rehtay thak gay hain

You got potential. Why didn't you write further? Do you think, one can take poetry as a profession in Pakistan?

in my opinion arts cant be made profession at any one's first instance. means one cat learn of writing books or poetry just to earn money. he will earn money. a great poet or writer always has some internal feelings which he puts on the paper. people know him accept him and love him then he adopts his this passion as a profession. and making such poetry or writing at such stage is not in any way bad idea.

No i actually has not potential of poetry but writing stories or novels i may perform a little bit. beacuse I wrote some short stories never published in any where because i did not send these. but my friends who read those admired much

I have read many and many are good but many of the my favorite have been passed away. may ALLAH grant them peace. one is Ashfaq Ahmad, then Qudratullah Shahab, then mumtaz mufti then Bano qudsia. From current writers Umaira Ahmad and Hashim nadeem are doing great jobs.
Wasif ali Wasif and Khaleel jabran are of different line of writers therefore I did not mentioned their names.
