Re: Guess where Iāll be on 2nd July ![]()
For those of you that have PMed me asking for details, it really was too amazing for words.
When Coldplay and Richard Ashcroft did Bittersweet Symphony I almost pissed my pants with excitement ⦠here were two of my most idolised musical talents singing together in a crowd of 200,000 + people. I donāt think iāll ever get over the goosebumps I felt when Richard first came out (I had no idea he was going to be there!).
There were a few bands that i knew Iād love (Razorlight, U2, Keane), but what i will always remember about the event are the acts that I wasnāt expecting to enjoy as much (Snoop, Annie, Robie Williams). These three were able to involve the crowd like nothing (or no1) Iāve seen before. When Robbbie sung Angels I sobbed my heart out. I think robbie is a plonker, but there was something about him on saturday ⦠probably because we were all so tired (it had been a very lonnng day).
I still feel numb. Itās amazing what a bit of music does to people!
Took a few snaps, but not that many (was quite far back in the crowd). Will post them soon as Iāve had them developed.
