This is the place where I first saw, human conglomeration on grand scale for the first time, later on I saw the grandest, Kumbh of Allahabad, this year :slight_smile:

I just read that Muslims refer it as Buraq wall . Buraq being the animal which carried Prophet Muhannad (SAW) in Mairaj night from Makka to Jerusalem.

yup…it’s the Wailing Wall behind and at the foot of Dome of the Rock…the old Jewish Temples of King David once stood there.

since Jews worship facing the wall [crying and all that] hence it’s called the wailing Wall.

Jews believe that it was part of a temple.
Muslims believe that it was part of a mosque.
