passed nearby the place numerous times as its on my way to home, but never visited it.

I had guessed it to be Kashmir from chanaar tree… and was going to google forts in Kashmir.

Chak Fort / known as Red Fort Upper Plate at the edge of Neelam river, built by Chaks ruler of Kashmir in sixteen century initially start in 1559 by Ghazi Khan Chak founder of chak dynasty and finally complete during Yousaf Shah Chak last king of independent of Kashmir for the protection of kashmiri nation and land against Mughals Akber, at that time Muzaffarabad name was CHAK BHAK and later on Sultan Muzaffar Khan ( Bamba dynasty ) change it by Muzaffarabad (Town Of Muzaffar) in 1646.
