I hate films :( Unless they feature genuinely good stories and brutal fight scenes..... loads of action, less singing and dancing and most importantly minimal dialogue. :) So most Bollywood films are straight out of the window according to my criteria.
I would recomend some films but to be honest i only watch films for inspiration and escapism.

OK heres a clue it' not Bollywood and it's not Hollywood either. This film is a super hit action film so good it had to be re-made, and to be honest the remake was just as good! But both films share the same director.
And no before anybody says it....... it's not chinese either though your getting closer. :)

Nope....... very close. Think you need another clue. This film is probably the sort of action film you will talk about for years after the first viewing. It was made in Thailand and set in the violent gang warfare of the 1980's the decade of decadence as some call it. Features some amazing stuntwork too.

Oh dear for that matter has anyone seen any Thai films? I'm sure you've seen hits like Ong Bak, and Tom Gum Yoon (aka) The warrior King, that was set in Australia for most of it.
Both those films were groundbreaking films particulaly Ong Bak which is regarded as a modern martial arts classic.
Anyway the film i'm talking about features a young man who has to fight through street gangs wielding machetes, biker gangs, ninja assasins and mafia thugs in a good old 80's beat em up. If it helps heres the most important clue, Tony jaa the star of Ong bak was taught by the lead actor/director of this film.

Yeah finally! Sister if you've seen that film hats off to you, it is awesome and if you can copy even half those moves..... god help anyone who tries to walk in your path down some dark alley
