Well, here they don't make you try different glasses. They make you look through a machine and keep changing the lenses of the machine and keep asking you "do you see clear with this one or this one?"........not sure about Pakistan, but when my brother got his eyes checked in Pakistan many years ago, they made him try different glasses on and finally selected the one that was the best for him.
