This is just with a few older guppies but when they start a thread, and the newer guppies respond to them, they tend to overlook the comments of the newer guppy and acknowledge the comments of the older guppies because as Laizy auntie mentioned there is some sort of a "clique". Again this doesn't hold true for all old guppies but a handful.

I think mods/ex-mods and some guppies associated with them may feel they belong to some kind of elite group...consciously...subconsciously...or even unconsciously...
My experience is that these kind of groups for fun or no fun...use to kick people out of chatroom...and in some cases...banning people for minor or nihil mistakes...

the cafeittes are the only elitists.....they stay in the cafe...they never post in any other forum....their threads get flooded too fast for even the mods. and they are all nice to each other...
