no really, I did not think that NJIT was part of Rutgers. You said it was, so I am wondering when did it happen.

it happend around two yrs ago.... so now.. NJIT and UMDNJ are under Rutgers Newark. we can take classes anywhere wid out goin thru all dat hassle. I am only talkin abt Rutgers Newark.

If i recall correctly it was not that NJIT became part of Rutgers but an arrangement was made where NJIT and Rutgers-Newark students can take classes at each others campuses.

and since Rutgers Newark did not have a real gud engineering school in newark they started sendin their students to NJIT and we did da same for the business majors. so now, for students like me whose major is engineering and minor is business management, would b able to take classes at both places and have both school names on the degree. However, you are not wrong either. for the newark students.. its really a same thing.
