well LASER is far more usefull for beauty than make-up;)
and it has lot of other applications, in surgery for ex…though there needed to be others great inventions beforehand. LASER is the greatest invention of all times

actually, i was thinking all day about one thing today......... a vehicle.
dad was explaining how "plugs"" need changing cz those are what provide electricity produced by several different parts of a car to function. without plugs, the produced electricity would be of no use. i was wondering how brilliant human brain can be. but it was just a vehicle's machinery that i was observing (my car went through its' 50,000 KMS service today). what if we gave some thought or some time to think about the latest inventions in technology for communication and more.
thinking of all those people who were a part of producing these for us. were they really genius? arent we (who have to make an effort to understand all that machinery) totally dumb heads as compared to those?

Crescent is right cause my bio teacher told me that thought was the major difference batween Autralopithicines boisi (vege man) and Homo habilis (our prime ancestor). A.boisi lived on vegetation and it did not have to deal with vicious predators of African sawanah while H.habilis used brain to make tools and those tools helped it to survive even when the climate changed and vegetation was gone. A.boisi simply died off while H.habilis lived and formed a species later on that was called Homo ergaster and it is to Homo ergaster that Adam and eve belonged....................so you see THOUGHT is a great big deal.

I think it was thought, just as Crescent said. About 2.1 to 1.1 million years ago two species of apes (our ancestors) lived in African sawanah, Paranthropus boisei and homo habilis. the prime difference between the two was the element of thought. Homo habilis' ( our ancestor) brain was 800cc while P.boisei's brain was only 545cc. P.boisei lived on vegetation that was abundent in the African sawanah and did not have to deal with any vicious predators of that time while H.habilis was prone to predator attacks and relied on meat for feeding.......................................and guess what who was our ancestor?...................................... H.habilis, cause it had to think of ways for surviving in that habitat and had to develop tools to eat marrow out of bones and you know what H.habilis developed into Homo Ergaster to which ADAM and Eve belonged to.
