I dont know of any Sunnis whom I know personally who think Muawiyah was any sort of hero. and none who are fans of yazid.
Incidentally none that do not like Hazrat Ali, Bibi Fatima and their family.

I always see shias never follow Imam Ali (RA) but those writers who spread hate and venom among muslims! but shias come with excuse that Hazrat Ali (RA) did that to stop problems among muslims but shias are today free to say anything they want.. Hazrat Ali (RA) did bayt to Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) but they wont accept him in as Khilafa at all.. dunno whom they follow..
