I am not talking about ineligibility. The constitution was over-ruled by the governor rule. We have a 'democratically elected' Punjab Assembly which could 'democratically elect' another chief minister. Please let me know who violated the sanctity of Punjab Assembly and thus deprived millions of people who voted for the MPAs from representing them?
For attending NA sessions, I am sure it is of no use, as long as the decisions are being made in the presidency and the prime minister is a mere puppet!
The steps taken by the democratically elected PPP government are done within the laws and constitution of Pakistan. Sharif brothers are only interested in one of them ruling Punjab. They could have and still can put a name forward for a new CM of Punjab rather than causing Anarchy and Chaos. As for your statement about no use atttending NA sessions, just reiterates the point that PML Nawaz are not interested in Democracy or the sanctitity of Parliament, where millions of voters had voted for PML Nawaz MNA's to represent them.

Where was this 'love' for democracy when Musharraf was going haywire on all known democratic principles?
I fail to understand how governor's rule preserves the 'sanctity of parliament'.
I fail to understand how running government from the presidency fosters democracy.
Maybe I am a jahil. Let it that way.
I belive you did not read my reply above.
'The steps taken by the democratically elected PPP government are done within the laws and constitution of Pakistan.' Sharif brothers could have put a name of another CM candidate from PML Nawaz after they were deemed ineligible by the high court. They chose not to. It appears they only want a Sharif family member to be the CM of Punjab, and thus they are intent on causing Anarchy and Chaos in Punjab.

Do you understand what were the affects of Governor's rule? The assembly stopped functioning. How could they put forward a name in the assembly?
Constitution says that you can only have a governor's rule if you cannot run the affairs of the province without it. There was absolutely no need for it. You just had to name an interim CM and call assembly meeting to elect the new CM.
Unfortunately Sharif brothers only want a Sharif family member to rule Punjab, despite being designated ineligible by the high court. They could have nominated another member of PML Nawaz as a candidate for the Punjab CM post. But it appears Sharif brothers are only interested in Kurs, Kursi, Kursi with their name on it.
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said the Governor’s rule has been imposed for a limited period of two months but the Governor is empowered to convene session of the Assembly for ascertainment of the leader of the house at any time even tomorrow.
He said that doors of the Punjab Assembly have been opened and if there was any requisition the session could be convened. The Prime Minister said 1973 constitution was a consensus document and it is our responsibility to safeguard it.
^ You are too naive. Who listens to Gailani anyways! Not even the Chief Secretary Punjab! The government is being run from the presidency by a certified lunatic. Gailani said he didn't like the governor's rule. Any effect? :P
"Article 234 can only be relied on in case of emergency when the provincial government becomes non-functional while, after court having disqualified Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sarif, the assembly is there and new leader of the house could be elected under the constitution within one week."
None of your arguments have any base. Changing a government of the largest province by force is not 'democratic' at all. BTW, it was a government that was 'democratically elected'. It is PPP who wants Kursi in Punjab. That too by force, threats and bribes.

Are you suggesting that PM Gilani, and the democratically elected PPP government do not know the laws governing the country. Surely not?
