these are the only ones i could find that are real gota. the others are just lace/feeta work. let me find some gota work.

call me weird, but this is a pic of my neice frm a wedding, and she had gota on her little lehnga. gota has a different feel, look to it, than lace/kaam/feeta.

err...no. her dress was bought at a store. anarkali or ichra.

it is gota, it is just thinner than gota. you know it's gota work because it isn't laid out in a line. you normally make patterns with gota. simple geometric shapes though.

not pure gota i agree but still gota with modern style mix with other embroidery to change old style of gota
