according to the hanafi school of though, only fish (things with a backbone and a skeleton) are halal and to be eaten. the other school of thoughts don’t draw lines at this point. according to them, all creatures of sea (aka seafood) is halal and permissable to eat. this includes shrimp, lobster, crab etc etc. and since sunnis can take stuff from other school of thoughts (other than the one they mostly prescribe to) overall, it’s ok to eat all kinds of seafood. yummy!
i for one am glad can i looooooooooove shrimp. yummy yummy.
btw these distinctions between the different school of thoughts is just interpertation of the information that is in the sunnah, the hadeeth and the quran. not necessarily what the prophet (PBUH) did exactly.

dont like gosht atall
except in mcdonald’s quarter pounder
or bigmac or cheezeburger
but otherthan that i never eat gosht
