I observed that chicken was quite cheaper than fresh vegetables (okra, peas) in London.

and in comparison its bit expensive at halal shops , and I rather doubt it would be exactly halal … after seeing a show last week .. been to a butcher house … and the experience was horrendous

I always wondered about teh chicken corn soup thellas in karachi, it seemd like teh same 3 murgis showed up every day took off their wardi and hung upside down, at the end of the day change back and go back to theri families.

Not on meatless days. Restaurant walay ka chalan ho jai ga. May be they do that on non meatless days.
