Re: Google Adsense
After knowing the way you see things on the WWW, I must say that you are not a web professional. And if you are not a web professional, you should not speak all the time but listen to the professionals next to you. No shame in learning, right?
What I said in my earlier post was based on experience and stats which you (apparent from your point of view) do not have.
From the post you made I have come to know that you lack information about the following areas.
[A] Website Development
Well Asif, it seems like you dont know the drawbacks of using open source web based systems. When you are talking about a successful website with huge amount of traffic, you are actually refering to a customized website.
You can look around, all w3giants are having custom web solutions because that’s the whole idea. Installing a standard Portal System or CMS for almost any purpose is not a new thing and is definitely not appealing. How much unique visitors can you bring daily and constantly on a dull, boring, standard open source system?
For a quick example, take 5 busy websites that use an open source system and then take 5 busy websites that use custom made systems. Now compare the traffic and usage so that you will know which web solution is driving people crazy and actually what is a busy website?
**** Website Marketing**
There is nothing called free lunch, remember? Dont tell anyone that your zero dollar marketing strategy is SEO and banner exchange.
Trust me there is no zero dollar marketing strategy. Marketing does cost you money. You need to pay for telephone bills, you need to pay for space on webpages, you need to pay for space on magazines and you need to pay for TV, RADIO commercials… Now that if you know the types of marketing. You must pay for everything. Are you forgetting how big guys market their big websites?
Oh, maybe you have another definition for a real busy website?
[C] Website Hosting
For a big website, will you pay for its web hosting or you will pay for its web servers?
Well, you cannot run big websites on a shared hosting machine. You remember the servers e.g. httpd have their limitations of service? Then there is imap and pop?
Big websites have their own data centers or atleast they rent top-notch remote servers.
Hello Asif! Where are you hosting big websites mate?
**[D] **So you are determined to make the most out of sky scrappers. Good luck!
[E] Sorry, I couldnt get your point. Where is the exciting part?
[F] Prolly a wrong shot since you need to improve the [A], ** and [C] areas.
I dont reply much in a thread. It’s a waste of intellect. I’m out.
