reach 16 , u fool, i'm past that hurdle and i'm now hitting my twenties so take good care in reading my profile which states all this info' before making assumptions which are baseless and WRONGGGGGG. rite 2condly, the beliefs which are wrong, rite from a sunni (me) to a shia (u), i'll give u an example, u are well aware that shias in ashura beat their chest's with their hands/fists and scratch themselves with penknives/stanley knives. rite that is some way of remembering hazrat imam-e-hussian (r.a) instead of praising the son of islam for his bravery and courage and his qurbani for the sake of islam that they showed in karbala, shia's beat themselves mentally until they don't have the urge to carry on and a voice inside them says "u can stop now". 3rdly, good luck u said, i don't need luck i n=know that i believe in allah and his last prophet mohammed (s.a.w) and this is enough for me to survive so the ? of luck is out of porpotion

Calm down 'Insolent mods'. Calling somebody 'below 16' never belittles anyone. Rhia would have said so meaning no offence to you, but just trying to be a bit lighter.

Cheers

:k:…that’s why I mentioned Hazrat Mohammad(pbuh)…I thought he would understand what I meant par khar…at least you did…

Taymoor Hain?

laeeqkhan Sunnis and Shias have the same mosques and pray together. …not always…and not everywhere…

**kenny and google
** I heard in the news that something similar like that has happened after 30 years in Iraq…so basically i was just pointing out Iraq…not Iran or other places…

As others pointed out already, its not a "new" thing. Even in Pakistani "hostile" society Shia/Sunni scholars have prayed together "to show" unity. Though it lasted for a few days/weeks.

The Shia_Sunni conflict is only an issue for Pakistanis and India. All the rest of the people in the world has no problem. I wish we do not divide ourself into sects and started bashing each other. This only weakens our self. We should learn to tolerant each other belief

Changez_like and google ...why would this issue be ONLY in Pakistan and India....what's the main reason?

Its a good idea, although Its no big a deal, go to Tehran and you'll find shia sunni praying side by side. Its a pretty common occurance.
[/QUOTE]

The fact that Iranian law forbids the presence of any Sunni mosques in Tehran probably goes a long way towards explaining this.

Incidentally, I've also prayed together with Shias at my university. In fact, I once knew a guy and prayed with him for nearly three years before I found out he was Shia. Made me really realise how slim the gulf is between Sunnis and Shias :)

I have to agree with insolent mod..Who can neglect his participation on April 1 issue :hehe:

Anyways. Coming back to the topic. As long US hatred prevails, shias and sunnis will always be united.

:konfused:…Hain?..there are no sunni mosques in Tehran?

Par I still don’t understand why sunni shia conflict is a big problem in Pakistan?

its a matter of “daal roti” for many mullahs, their political success lies in being anti-Shia, anti-Sunni. that way they get more power/money etc. also, they have self-certified authority to call others “kafir”.

That's too sad....I guess they would saying and doing many things in the name of Islam...:(....but all along it would be for money and power........if that's the case...gosh I don't know Pakistan ka kaya ho ga.

Likely in the U.S.A. there are Shia and Sunni Mosques. Even Whahabbai. (or how ever thats spelled.)

Even Churches and Cathedrals.

Created to praise God.

We could even be praying together.

Same Old God.

I think you know the one.

I agree. Double standard policies I suppose?

You'd be knowing why some shia sunni don't pray together?

<~~~~ haven't a clue why.

Thinking that everyone should. At least, once in a while.

Namely because they do not understand what Islam is.
A good believer from any sects will still be a good Muslim. We have the same Quran and same Prophet..other things are just 'Ideas'.
