I see what you guys are saying about them not respecting a great artist’s passing away but I don’t think it would have been possible to delay the scheduled theme(s). As lame as these shows have been lately, a lot of work and preparation goes into bringing them on air when they have something as big as a wedding week planned. They probably can’t just postpone it when they have everything prepared to go on air on a certain day. I didn’t find anything new or interesting with the current week’s theme, infact I only saw glimpses of the show, didn’t find it interesting enough to watch the whole thing. Whatever I did see though seems to have come through after a lot of effort. Again lame but one can imagine the time and effort that was behind all that work.
Ps: I wish they would put that kinda energy on something better. Who wants to see same old wedding week every few months??? Perhaps someone planning a wedding would find it beneficial (which I still don’t see happening but just to give them benefit of the doubt).
We’re not talking about delaying something as big as Will and Kate’s wedding or New Year Eve concert. They could’ve certainly delayed the tacky theme (not the show itself) for a day or two, or if nothing, could’ve tone it down by a note or two.
Considering ethics and building respectable image has never been cheap.
