see here is the difference (another one). we dont follow books. we follow gods.
In abc faiths which were “revealed” to one man they wrote books about it. but in non abc faith gods themselves came to the earth and taught people what to do. (as per stories in both the cases)
so asking for reference out of christanity and islam is futile. there are no hard and fast references .
