Pictures like the ones above evoke your emotions and you all sit there and pray for the victory of this Ummah.
Tell me, if someone broke into your house and began to steal your property, humiliate your father and take your mothers honour would you sit there and make du'aa? or would you stand up and fight to physically repel the invading force?
This Ummah is one Ummah. This Ummah is one body.
Mohammed (sallallahu Alaihi Was sallam) said (to the nearest meaning):
“The blood of the Muslims is one. The nearest as well as the furthest of them gives pledge of protection (to anyone) in their name. And they are one hand against the rest.”
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu Alaihi Was sallam) wrote the constitution of Madinah shortly after the Hijrah which describes the state of the Muslims:
“They are one Ummah to the exclusion of other people...the believers are helpers to each other to the exclusion of other people...the peace of the believers is one, a believer does not make peace excluding another believer in (the process of) fighting in the path of Allah.”
So, it is not enough to merely sit here and condemn the actions of the kuffar as they slaughter and massacre our brothers, our sisters, our fathers and our mothers. Rather, we should see these attacks against the Muslims and be motivated to carry out the da'wa to revive the Islamic Ummah, by working for the sincere Islamic leadership; Al-Khilafah.
Don't forget your brothers and sisters around the world who face oppression and tyranny as you sit in the comfort of your home. Think, if you faced such challenges would you want someone to post a short note of condemnation on gupshup or would you want them to work towards helping you with a true solution?
Make today the first day of your work, towards revival. May Allah, the exalted, reward the shuhadaa with the highest of rewards; Al-Firdous and may He, the all mighty, grant this Ummah the victory inshallah. Ameen.
